KOCHAI ("we", "us") makes fitness apps that work without an account. This policy explains what information the apps use, why, and the choices you have. It applies to both apps.
1. The short version
- You do not need an account. Without one, your workouts, progress, programs and diet choices are stored only on your phone.
- If you choose to sign in, we store your email address and a backup copy of your training data so you can restore it on another phone.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or health records. Health-related program choices (such as PCOS or pregnancy) never leave your phone.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID.
- If you buy Premium, the payment is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us.
2. Information stored on your device
Your training profile (goal, level, equipment, time), workout history, saved exercises, chosen program and diet plan, reminder time and app settings are stored in the app's private storage on your device. We cannot see this information. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes it permanently.
Some programs relate to health topics such as PCOS, periods, pregnancy, postpartum recovery and menopause. Choosing one of these is stored only on your device and is never sent to us or to advertisers.
3. Optional account and cloud backup
Signing in is optional. If you create an account, we store your email address and a cloud copy of your training data: your training profile (goal, level, equipment, time), workout history, saved exercises and preferred training days. This lets you restore your progress on a new phone. It does not include your chosen health program, diet plan, health focus, unfinished workout or reminder settings.
Account data is stored with our database provider Supabase, encrypted in transit, and protected so that only your signed-in account can read or change it. You can delete your account and its cloud copy at any time in the app (My preferences → Your account → Delete my account) or at https://kochai.rviv.in/delete-account.html.
4. Information processed by third parties

5. Your choices
- Personalised ads: where required by law, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
- No ads: Premium removes all ads.
- Reminders: daily reminders are optional, scheduled on your device, and can be turned off at any time in the app.
- Deleting your data: uninstall the app or clear its storage to remove device data; delete your account in the app to remove the cloud copy.
6. Children
The apps are intended for adults aged 18 and over and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Security
Data on your device is protected by your phone's own security. All network connections made by the apps use encryption (HTTPS).
8. Health information disclaimer
Workouts and diet plans are general fitness guidance, not medical advice. Talk to your doctor before starting, especially if you are pregnant, recently gave birth, or have a medical condition.
9. Your rights in India
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask about, correct or delete personal data held about you. If you have no account we hold none; if you have an account, you can delete it yourself in the app or contact us.
10. Changes
We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
